General fund journal of paper currency entries for unappropriated land, August 14, 1783-December 16, 1785; November 21, 1788.

Volume records in chronological order the names of persons who were issued paper money in exchange for specie certificates at the rate of one thousand to one. The paper money was then applied to the purchase of unappropriated land through the Land Office. Lists date, name, and amount issued. Numbers in the margins refer to similar entries in the back of a receipt book for the period 1782-1784, in entry 36, volume 12.
